Learning Program Development, Technical Document Solutions
Accenture teamed up with Lumenbrite to develop a comprehensive curriculum aimed at improving the skills of Java developers working on the Accenture Public Service Platform (APSP). This platform, integrated into the Affordable Care Act (ACA) portals and state and federal healthcare exchanges, required targeted training to enhance its development.
.Over 12 eLearning courses, featuring multiple modules with training, assessments, resources, and games, were developed over 30 months to train APSP Java developers. Lumenbrite collaborated closely with subject matter experts, developers, and stakeholders to create these courses, job aids, and webhelp documentation.
Significant effort was invested in creating a cohesive design theme with graphics and animations to clarify complex concepts and disparate systems. These visual elements were consistently used across eLearning courses, manuals, and web help documentation.
A series of job aids with custom graphics were created through close collaboration with subject matter experts. These advanced how-to guides were designed to support developers after completing their eLearning training.
A series of course manuals were developed to complement the eLearning courses, offering a more in-depth exploration of the content and resources. These manuals also included hands-on labs that could be conducted in a test environment.
Course manuals were designed with Adobe FrameMaker to handle their size and complexity. Webhelp documentation was created and managed with Adobe RoboHelp. The eLearning courses were developed using Adobe Captivate and hosted on the client's LMS. Custom workflows in Adobe Captivate were implemented to manage complex features, including graphical drag-and-drop interactions, custom branching, and interactive animations.
"Lumenbrite did a fantastic job with making the complex simple. They are one of the few companies that really care about our mission and deliverables."
