Learn Advanced Techniques and Workflows for Real-World Applications

In this three-day training, you will have the opportunity to improve your After Effects skills and take them to the next level. You will begin by reviewing the basics and then move on to intermediate and advanced topics related to video and motion graphics treatments. This training will give you a deeper understanding of motion graphics, tracking, and effects for real-world applications. 

The projects you will work on in class are based on actual professional-level media, and you will learn fast workflow procedures to enhance your keying skills. You will also learn about new effects and techniques that are specific to current trends in cinematic and corporate productions. 

Your instructor will guide you through the best practices for creating professional-grade motion graphics and video effects that will be well-received by your audience in this After Effects course.

  • Use cameras with Nulls for better camera controls and movement

  • Create a basic animation rig from Illustrator files
  • Track effects and objects using Motion Tracker and Camera Tracker
  • Track surfaces and map objects to video using Mocha AE
  • Learn to remove skin blemishes using masks and keying effects
  • Create scripts and cameras to rapidly create side scrolling and handmade video looks
  • Maximize system performance by managing Cache files, adjusting RAM settings and utilizing pre-rendering options
