The After Effects Bootcamp training is a comprehensive course that pairs and integrates both of our essential skills classes. This course is a complete foundation that starts at a beginning level and progresses to an intermediate level of mastery.
Our five-day After Effects (AE) Bootcamp is a comprehensive course that covers a wide range of topics for creating motion graphics and Hollywood-style effects for cinema, television, and web formats. It is suitable for students at all levels, from beginners to intermediate users, and will provide a strong foundation in using AE, the industry-standard tool for this purpose.
In this class, you will learn how to create rich compositions using video, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other files, and how to create advanced text effects, video blending, keying effects, and track mattes. You will also learn basic to advanced animation techniques that make AE a powerful motion graphics tool. Your instructor will cover nesting, creating precomps, and other methods for streamlining video production, as well as best practices to ensure that your motion graphics and video effects are viewed properly by your audience.
We will cover hot topics such as motion and mask tracking in AE and Mocha AE, as well as essential skills such as properly keying footage, manipulating masks, basic expressions, and working with time effects. You will also learn about particle effects, energy effects, and compositing using multiple layers.
Some of the class projects will include creating motion graphics, kinetic typography, cinemagraphs, motion tracking, and planar tracking for mobile phone image replacement. Your instructor will guide you through the pitfalls and best practices of using AE to create professional-grade results in this Adobe After Effects class.
