Overview
Learn to create stunning images from start to finish by mastering the skills of lighting, photography, and photo editing.
In this hands-on Photography Essentials course, you will learn how to use your camera's Manual Mode to take perfectly exposed and composed portraits and architectural photos. You will learn how to adjust your camera's aperture, shutter speed, and ISO settings to suit any lighting condition. You will also be introduced to basic lighting concepts and techniques, including the use of constant and strobe lighting equipment and how to adjust for ambient lighting conditions.
To help you put your new skills into practice, you will have the opportunity to run a photoshoot for Corporate Profile portraits. You will then take your photos into Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to import, catalog, and edit them for use in your company projects.
To get the most out of this class, it is recommended that you bring and use your own DSLR or Mirrorless camera. Your instructor will help you become more familiar with your equipment as you shoot throughout the day.
